REV. JASON A. PETTERSON
Rev. Petterson serves as Associate Pastor of Valley Presbyterian Church (PCA). He was ordained and installed as a minister of Word and sacraments in the Presbyterian Church in America on February 6, 2011 at Valley Presbyterian Church.
Pastor Petterson holds a Master of Divinity degree (2009) from Fuller Theological Seminary. It was during his time in seminary through the instruction of Drs. Richard A. Muller, John L. Thompson, Donald A. Hagner, and many others that he became further acquainted with the riches of Reformed theology and ecclesiology.
Pastor Jason has a passion to see God, through the good news of the Gospel, change and transform lives. One of his favorite portions of Scripture comes from the book of Ephesians:
By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not the result of works, so that no one can boast. For we are his worksmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:8-10).
Jason enjoys time with his family and friends and an occasional round of golf.
