GOD GATHERS HIS PEOPLE
Call to Worship - Psalm 135:1-7, 13-14, 21
Song - All Creatures Of Our God And King
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing Alleluia, Alleluia
Thou burning sun with golden beam
Thou silver moon with softer gleam
O praise him, O praise him, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Thou rushing wind that art so strong
Ye clouds that sail in heav’n along O praise him Alleluia
Thou rising morn in praise rejoice
Ye lights of evening find a voice
O praise him, O praise him, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Thou flowing water pure and clear
Make music for thy Lord to hear Alleluia, Alleluia
Thou fire so masterful and bright
That givest man both warmth and light
O praise him, O praise him, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

And all ye men of tender heart
Forgiving others take your part O sing ye Alleluia
Ye who long pain and sorrow bear
Praise God and on him cast your care
O praise him, O praise him, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Let all things their Creator bless
And worship him in humbleness O praise him Alleluia
Praise, praise the Father praise the Son
And praise the Spirit three in one
O praise him, O praise him, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

WE COME TO GOD BY FAITH
Innvocaton - Psalm 121:1; 124:8
Pastor:  I lift my eyes to the hills.  From where does my help come?
God’s People:  Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth

Prayer of Adoration

Salutation - Revelation 1:4-5 [mod.]
Confession of Faith -
The Apostles’ Creed
Pastor:  People of God, what do you believe?
God's People: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary.  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell.  The third day he rose again from the dead.  He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen!

GOD RESHAPES THE HEARTS AND LIVES OF HIS PEOPLE
Call to Confession - Romans 3:23

Confession of Sin
Assurance of Pardon - Colossians 1:21

Song - Before The Throne Of God Above
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong, a perfect plea:
a great high priest whose name is Love,
who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is written on his hands,
my name is hidden in his heart;
I know that while in heaven he stands
no power can force me to depart,
no power can force me to depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair
and tells me of the guilt within,
upward I look, and see him there
who made an end of all my sin.
Because the sinless Saviour died,
my sinful soul is counted free;
for God, the just, is satisfied
to look on him and pardon me,
to look on him and pardon me.

Behold him there!  The risen Lamb,
my perfect, sinless Righteousness,
the great unchangeable I AM,
the King of glory and of grace!
One with my Lord I cannot die:
my soul is purchased by his blood,
my life is safe with Christ on high,
with Christ, my Saviour and my God,
with Christ, my Saviour and my God.

Old Testament Reading - Psalm 47:1-9
New Testament Reading - Ephesians 4:1-16

Song - All I Have Is Christ
I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave
I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still.

But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross
And I beheld God’s love displayed
You suffered in my place
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace.

Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

Now, Lord, I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me
Oh Father, use my ransomed life
In any way You choose
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You.

Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

Doxology

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS WORD
Reading of God’s Word - Acts 1:1-11
Preaching of God’s Word -
Christ's Kingdom

GOD RENEWS HIS COVENANT WITH US
Song - Behold The Lamb
Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away,
Slain for us: and we remember
The promise made that all who come in faith
Find forgiveness at the cross.

So we share in this Bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice,
As a sign of our bonds of peace
Around the table of the King.

The body of our Savior, Jesus Christ,
Torn for you: eat and remember
The wounds that heal, the death that brings us life,
Paid the price to make us one.

So we share in this Bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice,
As a sign of our bonds of love
Around the table of the King.

The blood that cleanses every stain of sin,
Shed for you: drink and remember
He drained death’s cup that we may enter in
To receive the life of God.

So we share in this Bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice,
As a sign of our bonds of grace
Around the table of the King.

And so with thankfulness and faith
We rise to respond: and to remember
Our call to follow in the steps of Christ
As His body here on earth.

As we share in His suffering,
We proclaim: Christ will come again!
And we’ll join in the feast of heaven
Around the table of the King.
