Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

Your Session met last night and due to yesterday’s announcement by our Governor and the possibility of spreading COVID-19 we made the difficult decision to cancel the public Lord’s Day worship service at VPC through at least April 5th.

We will, however, be posting a service on our website. We know this is not the same as gathering corporately in worship, but our hope is that we will all watch and participate in this service at 11am Sunday in our homes.

Many churches throughout the world have been doing this for weeks, and now, in the providence of God, it is our turn. We long for the time when we will be able to meet and worship together again.

During this difficult time your pastors will be offering weekly words of encouragement through videos and through the church email. In the meantime, please make use of our many edifying theological resources and sermons:

and sermons:

This is a difficult time and there are difficult times ahead, but the Lord will see us through them all. Please be in prayer that God will continue to use VPC as we minister for Him in new ways. As always your pastors, elders and deacons are here for you. God has set all of us apart to care for you, body and soul. We are here to help and will be following up with you to the best of our ability but please let us know if you need anything via phone, email or text.

Another email will go out Sunday morning at 10am directing you to the link for the service and the liturgy.

In the Peace of Christ,
Your Session
