Fall 2003 Course Summary

“Basic Beliefs I” covers fundamental doctrines including the doctrine of Scripture, of God, of man, of Christ, of salvation, and of the church. Lead by Pastor Ron Svendson.
“Old Testament Survey 101” will explore major themes running through all of Scriptures and examine how each book of the Bible fits into redemptive history. Lead by Elders Bob Gray and Alex Bryer.
“Peter’s Letters” is an expository study covering the epistles of I and II Peter and Jude. Major themes include: finding hope amidst suffering, protection against false teaching, and comfort in the Last Days. Lead by Steve Robertson and Elder Rob Taylor.
II Chronicles is an ongoing historical study of how God deal with His covenant people, then and now. Lead by Elder Bob Taylor.

The Bible teaches that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16-17). To this end, it is our sincerest hope and prayer that every member (and visitor!) of VPC would participate in Sunday school ministries.

Childrens' Ministry Curriculum

Basic Beliefs for Children (Communicant's class)	This class is for children who want to make a public profession of faith and join as communicant members of our church. While we do not want to put pressure on anyone to take this class, we do encourage you to pray with your child about this opportunity. Please note that this is a class with a serious objective and will require regular attendance, children homework, and personal commitment by each child.
